Support Needed
The Base Youth Project is looking for local people to become members of its management committee. If you have an interest in young people and live locally and feel you would like to spend a small amount of time supporting The Base and the young people who attend the project please e-mail Shelley Taylor at base184@yahoo.co.uk or call 01727 821639. You will be required to attend a maximum of 6 meetings over the year and you may also be invited to participate in social events held at The Base.

Do you ever feel you wish you had someone to talk to, someone who wonąt tell anyone? Well wish no more... all you need to do is text your name to The Base Counselling service and a counsellor will call/text you back with an appointment. Auntie Annie is available all to answer any questions, concerns or information you may need. She can be contacted through the base website www.baseyouthproject.org.uk.
Mind & Body Drop In Service
The Base offers a drop in service every Friday between 5:30pm and 7:30pm. During the drop in hours you will be able to receive:-
Free advice and information
Free counselling
Free pregnancy tests
Free condoms
Support with giving up smoking
